Ancient madness predicts that we’re totally screwed in 2012.
“You have to understand, there will be nothing, nothing left,” Geryl told ABC News from his home in Antwerp, Belgium. “We will have to start an entire civilization from scratch.”
That’s because Geryl believes the world as we know it will end in 2012. He points to the ancient Mayan cyclical calendars, the longest of which last renewed itself approximately 5,125 years ago and is set to end again, supposedly with catastrophic consequences, in 2012. He speaks of the ancient Egyptians, who, he claims, saw 2012 as a year of great change too. And he points to science: NASA predicts a sharp increase in the number of sunspots and sun flares for 2012, he said, sure to cause electrical failures and satellite disruptions.
All this adds up, Geryl said, to unprecedented catastrophe. First, a polar reversal will cause the north to become the south and the sun to rise in the west. Shattering earthquakes, massive tidal waves and simultaneous volcanic eruptions will follow. Nuclear reactors will melt, buildings will crumble, and a cloud of volcanic dust will block out the sun for 40 years. Only the prepared will survive, Geryl said, and not even all of them.
i dont think the world is going to end because some 3 year old could have started a game about it and carried it on to others and may have gone to ears of scientists and all of a sudden they over reacted and now they think the world is going to end…plus its rediculous to be thinking about that kind of stuff
i dont know they said the same thing about 2000 but i think the real judgement days will come and the mark of the beast is right around the corner from this day…………………..
It may happen in future, as per Mayan calender had predicted that world will end at 2012……. Because many disasters like tsunami,earthquake,flood,etc..was taken place in many places that also had described in Mayan calender…. so Mayan calender assumption may be true and it may happen one day
im soo scared now, honestly. Im only 12 and if the world does end, i wont be able to fufill my lifelong dreams!

u can’t be scared about the world coming to an end its inedible. As time goes on we are just destroying the earth by ourselves. If the world does come to an end its because of all the stupid shit that we did in history. Im not saying it will happen in 2012 but it will probably happen some time. You can’t run from it because it will happen. Just think of all the things that we made like the A Bomb. All the nuclear weapons we are literally tearing ourselves apart.

I believe the world will end and i hope to God it aint in 2012, I had a dream that the world would end with big tidal waves about the size of what was the twin towers that sweeps across all the land and massive earthquakes that collapses mountings and unstable earth crust which in return makes volcanic eruptions and the works!… I research my dream and scare y enough a lot of things add up.. NASA Evan says that the world will be parallel in the universe with the sun which will bring the suns electro magnetic solar flares right at us as we will be directly Aline with the sun at this point in time 2012… It has happened before in the past and now it is time for another… after all this disaster happens the sky will block out the sun for 40 years due to all the volcanic eruptions so all life if remained as we know it such as plants etc.. will die and then it will be a new ice age and new beginnings.. there are signs and evidence all around us.. I just hope its not 2012 as i ave young kids who have not lived there lives yet and i would sacrifice my life to protect theirs.. I am not a religious person but i do believe there is sum1 pout there who we cant see who is way more superior then human beings and i do believe that when u die there is something else and we can be reunited with passed loved ones as u only gotta go to a spiritualist to know that for them to talk to sum1 you knew well who died who then can only tell u stuff that only you would know.. I just hope the end happens at least in another 500 years time so my kids and grand kids can have a good life…
But what really annoys me r us humans who are destroying the world cutting down too many trees just to write n wipe our stuck up bums and killing animals and destroying our world but building and intoxicating it and there is way too many people on earth.. if i won the lottery id used 90% of my money to buy land which has not been destroyed by us and protect the plant and animals… people make me sick! all we care about is money and our own loved ones and we are too selfish to think about the world and what we are doing to it and i bet most of you don’t care about kids that are dead from earthquakes n tidal waves i actually offer to go over and help for FREE!! I’m 22 i have a family and i am a real girly girl who does like nice things like clothes etc… for you people who think i am sum kinda earth loving weirdo well i am the complete opposite trust me. It just hurts me that no1 cares no more.. in the olden days things were much better then what they are now it just shows that the more we learn and grow the more selfish we become.
2012 is reminiscent of yesteryear ’80s shlock-tastic blockbusters — total popcorn entertainment with ridiculous dialogue and impossible situations and special effects that will boggle the brain for a good two-plus hours.
I am terrified ,for my kids as a parent anyone would do anything to protect their kids ,just be prepared to stock some water to drink and some seeds to plant ,matches candles ,and canned goods to eat.Find a place in the house sturdy ,enough that you wont get hit by small meteors that are 15000 kilometers per second fast! that would be in raging fire and would go through the windows and roof of the house ,it is so scary only God can help us ,you just have to trust him with all your heart that only he can perform a miracle.This rumor going around could also be the job of the anti christ ! if you believe the world is going to end then you believe in the devil and not in God ,for god said in the bible that no one not even Jesus or the angels above knows when the world will end .If all the stuff were true ,the bible would never have been around .God so much loved the world and would not let anything harm his children especially those who obey his commandments.
The world will come to an end. But we all also have to help the world by less litering and more recycling. If the world does come to an end it will be a tragedy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
